Abstract
:
In this project, we discuss the existence of extremal solutions for an anti-periodic boundary value problem involving first order nonlinear impulsive functional integro-differential equations of mixed type. The monotone iterative technique coupled with the method of lower and upper solutions is employed to prove the existence of monotone sequences that converge uniformly to the minimal and maximal solutions of the problem at hand. The impulsive differential equations with deviating arguments and impulsive differential equations with Volterra or Fredholm operators appear as a special case of the problem under consideration
